We have the luxury of a 700 sf garage that we want to turn into the library–and have now about 12 boxes of books for the library–and 8 shelves of books we h ave to have in our home. ….

But this is a great place to get ideas for getting rid of clutter

  1. WOW! I just stumbled on your blog tonight and I am so impressed with you two. Your blog has really given me “food for thought” on so many levels. Thank you for taking the time and energy to document your journey. I am a 61 year old disabled female (heart, lungs, arthritis, among other things) who is in the process of downsizing, with hopes of moving to a small cottage/cabin/tiny mobile house that I may or may not help build. This is the first discussion that I have seen that deals with the reality of creating a functional environment in a small space for someone with a disability while dealing with “City Hall’s” issues with building small. My evening is looking better and better…a cup of tea and reading ALL of your earlier posts.
